Our Credit Union lets people in the community come together to save and borrow money at low rates, and is operated on a not-for-profit basis, with surpluses being returned to members.
Common Bond
The common bond is the factor which unites the members of a credit union, it is what members have in common. In order to join the credit union, you must be within the commonbond. Please contact the credit union to see if you qualify.

In line with current legislation Criminal Justice (Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing) Act 2010 you must provide proof of identity when applying for Membership with Naomh Padraig Credit Union, you must call into our office and complete all the required application and nomination forms. Please ensure you bring the required documentation as all applications must be accompanied by the following where relevant:
ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS PLEASE
- Photo ID - i.e. Current Passport
- A recent Utility Bill, which shows your name and address as residing with the Main Account Holder
- PPS Number, Social Service Card, Correspondence from Revenue, Official Payslips, P60 / P45
- Birth Certificate, if under 18 years of age
- Marriage Certificate, where applicable
- Application & Nomination Forms - please ask any Staff Member for further information
